To celebrate the impending Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, Russia has minted a new 100 Rouble note with a snowboarder design.

A mere 100,000 have been printed, with the snowboarder image on one site and the main stadium of the Games on the other side.

If you can’t make it to Russia for the Games, should you be so inclined, you can still get your hands on one of these new notes.

They are currently available on ebay for USD16.50, although their face value is closer to USD3.

It’s a cute memento of the Games, but remember your Latin – caveat emptor (don’t blame us if your note doesn’t turn up).
