Flaine made an impression with their social media last season, when their pre-season Facebook competition increased their fan base by 7000 in one week.

This winter they have taken a different, and even more ambitious, approach with their new #Selflaine campaign – designed by Felix Creation.

Submit your #Selflaine

The Grand Massif resort is inviting users to submit their own ‘Flaine-style selfies’ – with the promise of a great prize draw every month, and an ever better one at the end of the season.

Users have to take a ski holiday-style selfie, then share it on the resort’s Facebook page, or via Twitter, Instagram or Tumblr using the #Selflaine hashtag.

Photos can also be shared via their competition-specific website.

Win a season in Flaine

Every month, there is an all inclusive weekend in Flaine to be won, with the winner drawn at random.

And at the end of the season, the ‘best’ image (selected by a panel, but based on a mix of shares, likes and retweets) will win a whole season in Flaine, including accommodation, season lift pass and equipment.


Another social win for Flaine?

It’s early days, with only 12 entries to date, but this will be one competition to follow.

It’s unlikely it will generate the number of new Likes that last year’s promotion did, but if the public gets creative and gets sharing, it could be another social win for Flaine.
