It was confirmed today that former Telegraph Head of Ski Content Henry Druce has been appointed as Managing Editor.

This is a newly created role and will see Druce work closely with publisher Dominic Killinger, Editor-In-Chief Patrick Thorne and Megan Hughes, Digital Content Manager.

Henry Druce In The Snow Magazine

He will work on the editorial strategy and content for InTheSnow’s website, magazine, social media channels and TV show.

Druce said:

“It is very exciting to join InTheSnow and have a chance to help shape its continuing success as the UK’s most popular hub for everything to do with skiing and snowboarding.

I look forward to working with resorts and tour operators to create top-notch editorial content and launch holidays specially created for InTheSnow readers.”

InTheSnow to offer ‘Reader Holidays’

It expected that Druce will work on the editorial side, but also bring his knowledge of ‘reader holidays’ to InTheSnow.

These worked successfully at The Telegraph, with trips hosted by celebrities such as Graham Bell and Chemmy Alcott to resorts like St Anton and Val d’Isère, and will add another revenue stream for InTheSnow.

18 years’ experience

Publisher Dominic Killinger said:

“I am delighted to have someone of Henry’s standing join us. He brings with him 18 years’ experience editing Ski and Snowboard magazine and six years as Head of Ski Content at The Telegraph.”
