The purchase of Dutch tour operator Snowtime by Travelski, the specialist online French ski retailer was announced earlier this month.
This consolidation maybe the first of many in the European snowsports industry as companies struggle to make sales for winter 2020/21.

Snowtime was founded in 1991 by Jeroen Van Doesburg and focussed on family ski holidays from the Netherlands to the Alps. The company is known in particular for organizing ‘Dutch Week’ – a huge end of season event Val Thorens.
It’s estimated the Netherlands represents the second largest international market to France, with 500,000 skiers skiing in French resorts each winter.

British targets next?
Yariv Abehsera, founding president by Travelski, confirmed this is one step in the company’s aim to become the European market leader for packaged ski holidays.
“The Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain are the three priority target markets for Travelski. This acquisition fits perfectly into our growth strategy overall. Our goal is to keep making new acquisitions abroad.”
Travelski was bought by Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) in 2018.
