We’ve written before on Skipedia about ski resorts targeting the #workation market, but even with a 40% discount the rates offered for a month’s accommodation in Courchevel would still have to fit in your budget.
But a month in La Clusaz for just a single Euro seems to good to be true.
Partnership with Airbnb
That normally means that it is, but Airbnb has genuinely gone into partnership with La Clusaz to offer a month’s accommodation for just €1.
While not formally a ‘Télétravail’ offer, the PR for this deal claims that ‘one in two French people would like to escape the city to live or work in the great outdoors’
Stay for 30 nights
The offer launched on 06 February, and was still available when we searched on Airbnb today, with just £1 quoted for 10 April to 10 May 2021 at Chalet Noisetiers.
French residents only
Potential holiday makers need to answer two questions and presumably the best responses will be allocated the property:
– Can you tell us why you want to stay in La Clusaz for a month?
– Would you be able to move there afterwards?
