I was hugely disappointed to see that Transport for London have failed to find a new sponsor for the ‘Emirates Air Line’ gondola in London.
Potential new sponsor: The Ski Podcast
Like most skiers, I was very excited when the gondola linking the O2 and Excel centre in Docklands opened in 2012. I rushed to queue up for the chance to pretend I was in the mountains again.
That is why I have contacted the TfL Commercial division (copying in the Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London) offering ‘The Ski Podcast‘ as a potential new sponsor.
I am optimistic that this could be a big breakthrough for the podcast (currently nominated for ‘Best Wintersports Podcast’ in the Sports Podcast Awards)…and also a useful source of income for Transport for London.
There are 140 episodes of The Ski Podcast for commuters to catch up on, available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you download your podcasts.
