Flexiski has changed hands again as it has been acquired by Hotelplan, owners of Inghams and Ski Total.

Acquired by First Choice

In 2000, First Choice bought the company for just under £1m from the original founder Neil Manuel.

Flexiski was founded in 1988 and operated at first in Chatel. By 1999/2000, it was making a profit of £175,000 from a turnover of £1.2m.

First Choice and TUI merger

Then in 2007, it became part of TUI after the merger with First Choice.

TUI let Specialist Holidays Group go

In 2016, TUI decided to spin-off the Specialist Holidays Group, which was rebranded Travelopia and then sold to KKR, an investment group in 2017.

Six owners in 19 years

Hotelplan therefore becomes the sixth owner of the brand in the last two decades.

Hopefully, this time it will work out…
