We were interested to see who was advertising in the recent travel supplement in The Guardian, published on 07 September.

The supplement was a ‘distributed advertorial supplement created by APL Media Limited’.

Typically this means there’s very little content and lots of ads, increasing the chances it will go straight in the recycling bin.

APL Media have a 2.5 stars out of 5 rating on Google, including this illuminating review:

So which ski companies chose to advertise?

  1. The Omnia – a 5-star hotel in Zermatt

2. The Radisson Blu – a 4-star hotel in Andermatt

3. SudTirol – a ski region in Italy

4. Crown Alps – a known ‘chalet scam website’
